Replace backgrounds, apply filters, colour grade, and trim — all in your browser

How it works

  • Open any MP4, WebM, or MOV clip directly in the editor to start editing
  • Apply background replacement (solid colour, lifestyle scene, image, or blur), cinematic filter presets, colour grade, and text overlays
  • Trim the timeline, preview in real time, and export as WebM or MP4 — all processing runs locally in your browser

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the video editor without removing the background first?

Yes. Open any MP4, WebM, or MOV directly in the editor to apply colour grading, filters, text overlays, and trimming — background removal is optional.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes. The editor is touch-optimised — pinch-zoom on the preview canvas, swipe between panels. Processing may be slower on mobile hardware than on desktop.

What export formats are available?

WebM (VP9) for transparency and maximum compatibility in post-production apps, and MP4 (AVC) for social media and general use. You choose the format in the export panel.

Is my video uploaded to a server?

No. All processing — background removal, colour grading, filter application, trimming, and export — runs entirely in your browser. Your video never leaves your device.

Timeline continuity

Utility outputs arrive as editable media, not dead-end downloads

Processed clips can continue from stabilization, resizing, conversion, or filtering into a timeline with their real media properties intact.

One handoff

From result to timeline

01

Real clip metadata

Dimensions, duration, audio, MIME type, and filename follow the processed blob.

02

Focused timeline

Trim, grade, title, layer, preview, and export without another upload step.

03

Playable checkpoints

Result previews expose encoding problems before a clip reaches the timeline.

Know before you process: Browser codec support varies by platform; MP4/H.264 is the broadest delivery choice when available.
