Resizing uses high-quality bicubic interpolation via the browser's Canvas 2D API. Transparency is preserved in PNG and WebP exports — JPG will composite transparent areas onto white. Maximum output dimension is 8192 × 8192 px.

Frequently asked questions
Does resizing reduce quality?
Resizing to a larger size (upscaling) can introduce blur — use the AI upscaler for quality upscaling. Downscaling to smaller dimensions preserves quality well. PNG output is always lossless.
Can I resize without changing the aspect ratio?
Yes. Select "Contain" fit to letterbox within the target dimensions, or "Cover" to crop and fill. Custom mode lets you set one dimension and auto-calculate the other.
What formats are supported?
Input: PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF. Output: PNG (lossless). Use the Format Converter to change to JPEG or WebP after resizing.
