Frequently asked questions
Does rotating change the image quality?
No. Rotation is a lossless geometric transform — no pixels are interpolated or re-compressed for PNG/WebP/AVIF. If you upload a JPEG, the output will be re-encoded as PNG so there is no additional JPEG loss, but the JPEG itself was already lossy.
Can I flip the image horizontally (mirror)?
Yes. Use the horizontal flip option to create a mirror image. Vertical flip is also available to flip upside down without rotating.
What is the difference between 90° clockwise and counter-clockwise?
Clockwise turns the right side down. Counter-clockwise turns the left side down. For sideways phone photos, 90° clockwise usually corrects landscape-left shots; 90° counter-clockwise corrects landscape-right.
