    Good natural light. Get their attention with a noise or treat. Contrasting background to their fur helps the AI — light cat on a dark surface or dark cat on a light one.

    Whisker and fine fur detail needs Best Quality (RMBG-2.0) mode. Worth the first-time download.

    Check whiskers and ear tufts at 100%

    Zoom in fully after processing. Use the Restore brush at very low opacity (5–10%) to bring back whiskers that were clipped.

    Choose your background

Common questions

Will it get individual whiskers?

Very fine whiskers are the hardest edge case for any AI tool. Best Quality mode handles them better than Fast. Extremely fine, backlit whiskers against a matching background may need a few brush strokes to restore.

My cat is black — will it work?

Black cats against dark backgrounds are the hardest case. Shoot in natural light against the lightest background you can find. Best Quality mode gives the best result for low-contrast scenarios.

Are my cat's photos uploaded anywhere?

No. All processing happens locally on your device. NSS never uploads your photos anywhere.

Can I use this for my cat Instagram account?
