Step-by-step guide

Step 1 — Film your Reel
Film your Reel vertically (9:16) in the Instagram app or your phone camera. Any background works. Consistent lighting gives the cleanest result.

Save the clip to your camera roll and transfer to your computer via AirDrop, USB, or Google Photos.

Open /video-bg-remove in Chrome or Edge. Upload the MP4 file.

Does Instagram accept WebM files?
Instagram requires MP4 for Reels uploads. Convert the NSS WebM output to MP4 using HandBrake (free desktop app) before importing to Instagram.
