Common questions

What removal strength should I use for scanned documents?

Low or Medium works best for most scanned documents with a white background. High removal is better for PDFs with coloured page backgrounds or heavy shadows.

Does it work on password-protected PDFs?

No. Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed. Remove the password protection first using your PDF viewer or Adobe Acrobat.

Will it preserve text and fine lines in diagrams?

The background removal targets large uniform areas like page white. Fine lines, text, and detailed diagrams are preserved at Low and Medium strength settings.

Is my document uploaded to any server?
